BALL FITTING

WHY WOULD YOU NOT TEST GOLF BALLS?

One of the biggest considerations to choosing a ball for you is cost. We certainly understand that golf balls are expensive, so we will discuss that as part of the fitting.

That being said, at Pure Swing Golf we want to educate golfers on the importance of a Urethane covered ball. The data on the difference between this material and others available is so significant that there isn't really a reason to play a ball that doesn't have a Urethane cover. Generally those balls will start around $34.99 price and go up from there. Be prepared to test balls in that area of the market.

Ball fitting appointments are $149 and include a dozen balls tailored to you.

WHAT TO EXPECT

BUILD YOUR PROFILE

Every ball fitting is going to start with building your Ballnamic profile. We will gather current information about the ball you currently play and your typical playing conditions. We will take in to consideration how often you play and the cost of golf balls. At the conclusion of building your profile, Ballnamic is going to recommend three balls for testing. (additional balls may be selected)

TESTING LAUNCH CONDITIONS

Based on your profile, we will test the three balls recommended to you using your driver, 7-iron, and wedges. All data will be gathered and organized using Foresight GC Quad. During this step, any additional balls you may have selected may be tested. We may ask you to test with other clubs in your bag that may not be listed above.

FINISHING TOUCHES

In this step, we will analyze the Foresight data and make a ball recommendation. We will use data points such as: launch angle, spin rate, ball speed, height, and more. This is also the step where we will discuss golf ball optics, such as: colors, alignment lines, and new pixelated patterns that are common in the industry. You will leave with a dozen golf balls that you are fit for.

IN TODAY'S WORLD, WHY WOULD YOU NOT TEST GOLF BALLS?

Over our decades of experience as competitive golfers, we can't overstate the importance of the golf ball. You need to find the right one for you and then make sure you only hit that ball as often as you can. It is important to recognize that they don't perform the same and if you want to see CONSISTANCY in your shots, you have to be consistent with the ball you play. The ball can often be the reason the amateur golfer is struggling with things like height, spin and distance. They never consider the ball. The industry doesn't tell them to.

Golfers have always been into boxes about what ball they should play. If you swing fast, you should play this ball. If you hit it high, you should play this ball. The industry always just went with what manufacturers told us. Well, not us. We simply test.

In our experience, sometimes we don't know what we don't know and testing the options that are available to you is the only way to go.

At Pure Swing Golf, we know that the golf ball you play is just as important as the clubs in your bag. Golf balls aren’t one-size-fits-all—different balls are designed to perform differently based on your swing speed, club path, face angle and other variables. That’s why the only way to know which ball is best for you, is to test them.
